General Information

The service is managed by SNCM Italia S.r.l., acting as an agent for the Maritime Companies andexclusively as an intermediary between the Customer and the aforementioned Companies.The following Terms and Conditions apply to all of our booking services provided through thewebsite, via email, or by phone.If the Customer does not wish to accept, in whole or in part, the Terms and Conditions offerry4you.com, they cannot use our services.Submitting a booking request implies the acknowledgment and acceptance of the Rules and theTerms of Sale and Transportation of the chosen Maritime Company.

Booking

  1. It is possible to request a booking at any time online or by phone during the hours indicated on the website. Submitting a booking request does not imply the automatic assignment of a seat. The request will be processed as soon as possible, depending on the office's working hours. After payment is made and price and availability are verified, the ticket will be issued. If the previously quoted rate is no longer available, our operators will propose an alternative with a new quote, which the customer may accept or reject. In case of refusal, a refund will be issued without any deductions for any amounts already paid.
  2. Same-day departure booking requests can only be accepted if the payment is made by the Customer via credit/debit card.
  3. The booking system allows errors to be corrected before submitting the request. Therefore, it is important to verify the accuracy of the provided data, as the Customer is solely responsible for the correctness of the entered data (routes, dates and times requested, number, age, names, and details of passengers, types of accommodations, type, size, and plate of accompanying vehicles, pets, email address, phone number, etc.).
  4. Tickets must be checked by the Customer upon receipt. Any inaccuracies or errors must be urgently communicated to SNCM Italia S.r.l. via email or WhatsApp.
  5. Tickets received in the form of e-tickets via email, WhatsApp, and/or SMS must be presented at boarding for the standard check-in procedures. Those who show up without partial or complete travel documentation will be required by the Maritime Company to purchase a new ticket.
  6. It is possible to make a booking while awaiting the issuance of an identity document (identity card or passport), which must, in any case, be communicated before departure. A valid identity document will be required at boarding for all passengers included in the booking. In the absence of the document, boarding may be denied. The names on the travelers' documents must correspond to those indicated on the booking confirmation and, therefore, on the tickets. Moreover, it is the Customer's responsibility to obtain information from the competent authorities regarding the necessary documents for travel and the local regulations concerning the stay at the booked destination (landing restrictions or vehicle circulation bans due to municipal ordinances or applicable legal regulations). SNCM Italia S.r.l. will not be held responsible for any lack of required documentation by local authorities.
  7. If a personal vehicle is included in the booking but turns out to be a commercial vehicle, the Maritime Company may request a tariff adjustment, require a new booking, or refuse transport without a refund.
  8. Any additional transport items attached to the vehicle (roof boxes, luggage racks, racks) must be included in the booking, as they are subject to additional charges.
  9. It is allowed to travel with a pet, which must be added to the booking. This may incur additional costs and require accommodations different from those selected. Transportation must comply with legal requirements and the Maritime Company's conditions regarding necessary documentation and authorizations for travel, and it is entirely the Customer's responsibility.
  10. Bookings requiring PRM (Persons with Reduced Mobility) assistance must be requested by email or phone.

Rates/Timetables

  1. Ticket prices are the official rates set by the Maritime Companies and are calculated directly by their booking systems. SNCM Italia S.r.l., as an agent, has no ability to modify such rates. SNCM Italia S.r.l. reserves the right to apply a booking fee for each leg booked, to cover management fees and an administrative charge, which may vary depending on costs incurred. This amount will be indicated at all stages of the purchase process.
  2. For the benefit of the Customer, SNCM Italia S.r.l. is authorized to apply the best available rate at the time of ticket issuance, even if this may later result in the impossibility of changes and/or cancellation of the ticket.
  3. Maritime Companies may change rates at any time without notice. In such cases, the changes will be communicated to the Customer via email.
  4. The booking may require the Customer to travel on specific dates and times. Failure to comply may result in denied boarding by the Company, additional fees, or the cancellation of the booking without a refund.
  5. The Company may change departure times, check-in times, cancel departures, or extend the duration of the navigation, as specified in their respective terms and conditions. It may also use alternative departure and/or arrival ports, as well as alternative ships and services for operational or technical reasons. SNCM Italia S.r.l. will not be held responsible for any costs or inconvenience resulting from such changes by the Company.

Payments

  1. Booking confirmation is concurrent with the issuance of the travel document, which is subject to receipt of payment, which can be made by credit or debit card, bank transfer, or other methods listed on our website.
  2. Depending on the chosen Maritime Company, the departure date, and/or for security reasons, a link may be sent to proceed with payment independently.
  3. For bank transfer payments (with banking fees charged to the Customer), a copy of the payment must be sent to SNCM Italia S.r.l. via email or WhatsApp for verification by an operator during office hours.

Changes and Cancellations

  1. Any type of change or cancellation can only be requested in writing to our email address info@ferry4you.com at least 48 hours before departure.
  2. In case of change/cancellation requests outside our office hours, the request must be communicated directly to the Maritime Company.
  3. In case of change (if allowed by the terms of the specific Maritime Company), in addition to the penalties charged by the chosen Company, SNCM Italia S.r.l. reserves the right to apply agency fees due to administrative processes, which will be communicated to the customer during the quote process.
  4. Cancellation of already issued tickets will only be allowed if permitted by the general terms of the specific Maritime Companies and will be subject to both the penalties of the Company and a possible penalty from SNCM Italia S.r.l., which reserves the right to apply agency fees due to administrative processes. These will be communicated to the customer during the quotation process.
  5. A cancellation request implies acceptance of the Maritime Company and SNCM Italia S.r.l.'s rules and terms of transport. It will be processed without further communication from us, other than the confirmation of the cancellation, with applicable penalties deducted from the refund.
  6. Unused tickets will not be refundable.
  7. In no case will booking fees, administrative costs, or a cancellation guarantee be refunded, even in case of schedule, date, port of departure/arrival changes, or departure cancellation by the Maritime Company.

Refunds

  1. After a credit card refund, the time to restore the credit card limit may vary based on the reference Circuit and is at the discretion of the issuing Bank.
  2. In case of overpayment (including fees) made by bank transfer, the refund of the difference will be issued only after the payment has been credited to our account, within a maximum of 15 business days.
  3. In case of cancellation/change of the booking, the refund to the Customer will only be processed after the Maritime Company refunds our Agency. The time may vary from Company to Company.
  4. Refunds will be issued using the same method used for the booking payment unless otherwise agreed.

Liability Limitations

  1. SNCM Italia S.r.l. acts as an intermediary between the Customer and the Maritime Companies and, therefore, assumes no responsibility for the services offered by them.
  2. In case of non-compliance with our contract conditions, SNCM Italia S.r.l. will only be liable for loss or damage limited to the price paid for the ferry booking.
  3. SNCM Italia S.r.l. will not be responsible for the accuracy and correctness of information provided by the Companies, including prices, schedules, and availability.
  4. SNCM Italia S.r.l. will not be responsible for any interruptions in the use of the booking site due to malfunctions, repairs, or maintenance, nor for delays or failure to meet its obligations due to uncontrollable events (force majeure, fires, floods, bad weather, explosions, wars, acts of terrorism, labor disputes, or actions by central or local government authorities or any other competent authority).
  5. SNCM Italia S.r.l. is released from any responsibility in case of non-receipt or partial receipt of the ticket (by email, WhatsApp, and/or SMS) due to causes not attributable to it.
  6. No responsibility can be attributed to SNCM Italia S.r.l. in the event of non-presentation or partial presentation of travel documents at boarding.
  7. SNCM Italia S.r.l. will not be responsible for any refusal of boarding by the Maritime Company due to incorrect or invalid documentation.

Non-Applicability of the Right of Withdrawal

  1. The service provided is not subject to Decree Law 22/05/1999 No.175 and subsequent amendments regarding distance contracts, as per Art. 7 - paragraph b) 'Exclusions': 'For contracts for the provision of services related to accommodation, transport, catering, and leisure, where at the time of the conclusion of the contract, the provider undertakes to provide such services on a specific date or within a predetermined period.'

Intellectual Property Rights

  1. SNCM Italia S.r.l. owns all intellectual property rights of the website (copyright, design rights, database rights, and trademarks) and the material published on it. The Customer may not use any of these rights without the explicit permission of SNCM Italia S.r.l.

Privacy and Cookies

  1. All information regarding the privacy and cookie policy is available directly on the website and complies with current laws.

Dispute Resolution

  1. In case of complaints regarding the services purchased, please contact us at the email address info@ferry4you.com. Extrajudicial mediation can be used to find a mutually satisfactory resolution in an economical and timely manner, using the mediation and conciliation service of the Chamber of Commerce of Milan Monza Brianza Lodi. To initiate mediation/conciliation, please contact the Customer Service or the Conciliation Office of the Chamber of Commerce of Milan Monza Brianza Lodi via email: servizio.conciliazione@mi.camcom.it. The possibility of legal action remains available by appealing to the judge of the consumer's place of residence or domicile if located within the State.
